Note: This Low Fat Oil-Free plan is ideal for those with active gallbladder issues. The gallbladder stores bile (from the liver) which emulsifies the fats in our diet. When we consume a meal with fat, the gallbladder contracts releasing the bile to do its work. This causes pain and discomfort when the gallbladder is inflamed or not healthy. The Low Fat Oil Free plan reduces the burden and allows the gallbladder some time to rest.
